Title: Relation between expression of C-erbB-2,p53 genes and estrogen, progesterone receptors in breast carcinoma of patients under 35 years of age
Abstract: Objective To investigate the relation between the expression of C-erbB-2,p53 and estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR) of breast carcinoma in patients under 35 years of age. Methods The expression of C-erbB-2,p53,ER and PR was detected by immunohistochemical technique in 100 cases of breast carcinoma under 35 years of age. Results The poistive expression rates of C-erbB-2,p53,ER,PR were 78.0%,67.6%,54.0%,54.0%,respectively.There was no correlation between the poistive expression of C-erbB-2,p53 with clinical stages, tumor size and lymphatic metastasis. Conclusion The expression rates of C-erbB-2 and p53 in breast carcinoma of patients under 35 years of age are high.It may increase metastasis potential and invasion possibility.
