Methods Immunohistochemistry method was used to analyze the expression of ER,PR,c-erbB-2,p53,bcl-2 and pS2 in 75 cases of breast cancers. Results Positive expression rates of ER,PR,c-erbB-2,p53,pS2 and bcl-2 in 75 cases of breast cancers were 74. 7% ,78. 7% ,49. 3% 65. 3% 82. 7% and 54. 7% respectively. The expression of PR was positive related to patient' s age. The expression of p53 was correlated with the histological grades, the pathological types, lymph node metastasis, the location of tumors and the clinical stage. The expression of p53 was correlated with menopause status. The expression of bcl-2 was positive related to the expression of ER. The positive expression rate of pS2 was significantly higher in ER and PR positive groups than in ER and PR negative groups. Conclusions Combined detection of expressions of ER,PR,c-erbB-2,p53,bcl-2 and pS2 in primary breast carcinoma has practical value in the evaluation of prognosis and therapeutic effects of breast cancer patients.Read More
