Abstract:Objective To compare and observe the clinical effects of nicergolent and piracetam in treatmem with vascular dementia(VD).Methods From January 2007 to January 2009,98 cases patients with VD were rando...Objective To compare and observe the clinical effects of nicergolent and piracetam in treatmem with vascular dementia(VD).Methods From January 2007 to January 2009,98 cases patients with VD were randomly classified into nicergnlent group with 49 cases and piracetam group with 49 cases.To compare the MMSE,WMS,CGI,ADL and clinical effect between the two groups.Results Compared with pre-treatment,the MMSE and WMS were significantly increased(P0.05),SI and ADL were significantly decreased(P0.05) after treatment in two groups.Moreover,the MMSE,WMS,SI and ADL in nicergolent group were significantly better than those in piracetam group(P0.05).The total effective rate(89.8%) in aleergnlent group were significantly higher than that(67.3%) in piracetam group(P0.05).There were no significant untoward reactions in both two groups.Conclusion Nicergolent was an effective drug in treatment with VD and more effective than piracetam.Read More
