Title: Curative Effect of Heparin in the Treatment of Children with Severe Pneumonia and Its Influence on Platelet Parameters and D-Dimer
Abstract: Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of heparin in the treatment of children with severe pneumonia and its influence on platelet parameters and D-Dimer.Methods Ninety-five children with severe pneumonia were divided randomly into treatment group(n=48)and control group(n=47),two groups received conventional treatment, moreover, the treatment group was treated with subcutaneously small dosage of heparin.Serum platelet parameters and D-Dimer were measured before and after treatment. Results The total effectiveness rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group(95.8% vs 76.6%,P0.01).Comparison with those before treatment, the platelet parameters in the treatment group improved obviously after treatment(P0.01),and there was significant difference as compared with control group(P0.01).The rate of increased D-Dimer in therapy group was significantly lower than that of control group after treatment(6.3% vs 51.1%,P0.01).Conclusion Heparin is an effective drug for the treatment of children with severe pneumonia, which can obviously improve blood hypercoagulable state.
