Title: The function of vascular endothelium in essential hypertension and influence of benazepril
Abstract: Objective:To study the function of vascular endothelium in essential hypertension(EH) and influence of Benazepril. Methods:The change of plasma notric oxide (NO) and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) levels and the change of blood pressure from benazepril intervene were measured in patients with EH.Results:Befor benazepril treatment, the concentration of plasma NO was obviously lower( P 0.0l),the concentration of plasma ACE was more higher( P 0.01),than that of control group. After 4 weeks of benazepril treatment, the blood pressure decreased( P 0.0l), the total effective rate is 83.3%,the level of plasma NO increased( P 0.05), the level of plasma ACE decreased( P 0.05),than that before treatment. Conclusion:The EH patients have poor function of vascular endothelium;benazepril has significant effects of decreasing pressure; it can greatly repair and improve the bad structure and function of vascular endothelium of EH patients.
