Abstract:OBJECTIVE:To develop a method for the simultaneous determination of orientin,isoorientin and vitexin in the leaves of Passiflora edulis.METHODS:HPLC method was adopted.Intertsil C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5μm)...OBJECTIVE:To develop a method for the simultaneous determination of orientin,isoorientin and vitexin in the leaves of Passiflora edulis.METHODS:HPLC method was adopted.Intertsil C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5μm) column was used with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid (gradient elution) at the flow rate of 1 mL·min-1 respectively.The detection wavelength was set at 350 nm and the column temperature was 30℃.RESULTS:The linear ranges of isoorientin,orientin and vitexin were 0.015~0.150 mg·mL-1(r=0.999 8),0.012~0.120 mg·mL-1(r=0.999 8),0.012~0.120 mg·mL-1(r=0.999 4),respectively.The average recoveries were 99.04%(RSD=0.80%,n=6),99.30%(RSD=1.03%,n=6),98.92%(RSD=1.11%,n=6).CONCLUSION:The method is simple,accurate and available for quality control basis of the further development of the leaves of P.edulis.Read More
