Methods: The expression of Hpa1 in 37 pancreatic cancer cases was detected by using RT-PCR and immunohistocbemistry SP methods. The relationship between the expression of Hpa1 and the invasion, the clinicopathological features of pancreatic cancer was analyzed. Results: The positive rates of Hpa1 in pancreatic cancer and in benign pancreatic diseases were 64.9%(24/37) ,56.8% respectively(P0. 01) . The expression of Hpa1 was associated with lymph node metastasis,TNM grade and Invasion tonerves or vascellum,Peplos of pancreatic tumor separately(P0.05) ,but no relationship among hisological differentiation, age, gend, the tumor size. Conclusion: The Hpa1 overexpressed in tumor tissues relative to normal tissues, and its abnormal expression may be involved in the oncogenesis development and metastasis of pancreatic cancer. Hpa1 is shown to play a major role in the migration and invasion of pancreatic cancer,so it may be a potential target site for inhibiting the migration and invasion of pancreatic cancer.Read More
