Methods Using ABC immunohistochemistry methods, the expression of CDC25B in 88 cases of pancreatic cancer and 15 cases of benign pancreatic disease was detected. The relationship between the expression of CDC25B and the clinicopathological features of pancreatic cancer was analyzed by the statistical method. Results The positive rates of CDC25B in pancreatic cancer and in benign pancreatic diseases were 56.9% (50/88) and 13.3% (2/15) respectively (P 0.01).There was a significant correlation between high expression of CDC25B and tumor size (P 0.05),distant metastasis (P 0.05),and clinicopathological stage (P 0.05),buth there was no correlation between high expression of CDC25B and age, gender, lymph node metastasis, and differentiation. Conclusion The CDC25B was overexpressed in tumor tissues relative to normal tissues, and its abnormal expression may be involved in the oncogenesis, development and metastasis of pancreatic cancer.Read More
