Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of arsenic trioxide on the proliferation and apoptosis of human triple-negative breast carcinoma(hTNBC) HCC1937 cell in vitro.Methods The human breast cancer cells...Objective To investigate the effects of arsenic trioxide on the proliferation and apoptosis of human triple-negative breast carcinoma(hTNBC) HCC1937 cell in vitro.Methods The human breast cancer cells cultivated in vitro were treated with arsenic trioxide.The inhibitory effect of arsenic trioxide on the HCC1937 cell was assayed by MTT staining and inverted microscope.ResultsArsenic trioxide in different concentrations inhibited the growth of the HCC1937 cell and promoted its apoptosis and death.The inhibition rate was 80.51% when the HCC1937 cell was treated with arsenic trioxide 20 μg/ml for 72 hours.Conclusion Arsenic trioxide can inhibit the growth of hTNBC HCC1937 cell in the time-and dose-dependent manner.Read More
