Title: Effect of Sinomenine Against Cultured Neonatal Rat Cardiomyocytes Injured by Free Radicals
Abstract: Objective To study the protective effect of sinomenine on the cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes injured by free radicals. Methods Injury model of the cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes was erected by super oxygen anion(O_2~-).The activity of lactic dehydrogenase(LDH),MTT metabolic rate,Superoxide Dismutases(SOD),cellular melondadehyde(MDA)were determined to observe sinomenine effect on cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes injured by free radicals. Results Compared with the model group, sinomenine significantly decreased the release of LDH,lowered the content of MDA and markedly increased the activity of SOD,increased MTT metabolic rate. Conclusion sinomenine has the protective effect by eliminating free radicals on cuhured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes O_2~--induced injury.
