Abstract:Objective To check the correlation between monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),8-iso-prostaglandin F2α(8-isoPGF2α)and diabetic nephropathy.Methods 29 rats were divided into nomal control group(n...Objective To check the correlation between monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),8-iso-prostaglandin F2α(8-isoPGF2α)and diabetic nephropathy.Methods 29 rats were divided into nomal control group(n=10),diabetic nephropathy model group(n =19).The rats were feeded with high lipoids and high glucose food,injected small dose strepozotocin into the abdominal cavity to induce the analog of diabetes.After succeeding,the rats were feeded up 8 weeks and became diabetic nephropathy model.To detect fasting blood-glucose and urine albumin excretion rate(UAER)of 24 hours,and detected MCP-1,8-iso-PGF2α through ELISA method.Results The blood glucose,UAER,MCP-1 and 8-iso-PGF2α of model group were increased obviously than the normal group(P 0.01).There were positive correlation between 8-iso-PGF2α,MCP-1 and 24 h UAE.Conclusion Inflamation and oxidative stress reaction possibly played an important role in the occurrence and development of diabetic nephropathy.Read More
