Title: Expression of CD105,VEGF and TGF-β1 in human astrocytoma and their relationship with angiogenesis
Abstract: OBJECTIVE:To study the expression of CD105,VEGF and TGF-β1 in human astrocytoma and their relationship with angiogenesis, and supply evidence for clinical treatment.METHODS:Immunochemical method was used to determine the expression of CD105,VEGF and TGF-β1 protein in 56 cases of low-grade astrocytomas and paratumor tissue, and 56 cases of high-grade astrocytomas and paratumor tissue, and 10 cases of normal brain tissues were used as control group.RESULTS:Compared to the control group and paratumor tissue, the CD105-MVD and VEGF,TGF-β1 immunopositive cells were all increased significantly in the astrocytomas,P0.01.The expression of CD105-MVD and VEGF,TGF-β1 were all increased significantly in the high-grade astrocytomas versus to the low-grade astrocytomas. There were all statistically significant about CD105-MVD among the significantly expressed group, the lower expressed group and negative group of VEGF and TGF-β1,P0.05.According to the correlation analysis, the expression of TGF-β1 was positive correlation with VEGF,P0.01.CONCLUSIONS:The CD105,VEGF and TGF-β1 might be combined utilized to discriminate the malignant degree of astrocytoma. So,the new therapeutic regimen of astrocytoma would be provide based on these.
