Title: Analysis of characteristics of coronary angiography of coronary heart disease accompanying with impaired fasting glucose tolerance
Abstract: Objective To understand features of coronary angiography(CAG),metabolic characteristics and prevalence of coronary heart disease(CHD)in patients with CHD accompanying impaired fasting glucose tolerance(IFG).Methods The clinical information and results of CAG of 392 suspected CHD patients in our hospital between 2005 to 2007 were retrospective analysed.Results(1)The level of total cholesterol(TC)was significantly higher in diabetes mellitus group(DM)than normal glucose tolerance group(NGT)and IFG group. There were no significantly difference in the levels of triglycerides(TG),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),high-density lipoprotein(HDL),uric acid(UA)and essential hypertension(EH)among NGT,IFG and DM Group.(2)The positive rates of CAG of NGT,IFG and DM group were 56.5%,78.3%,91.4%,respectively.The coronary lesions of IFG/DM group patients were more diffused, and had a higher total score of coronary stenosis than NGT group. The stenosis degree of coronary lesions of IFG/DM group were very severe.(3)IFG was a risk factor for coronary heart disease from logistic regression analysis, and FPG was positively correlated with total score of coronary stenosis by Spearman correlative analysis. Conclusion IFG is closely related with CHD and its stenosis degree.
