Title: Clinical Observation on Therapeutic Effects of Unstable Angina Pectoris with Breviscapine Injection
Abstract: Objective To observe therapeutic effects of Breviscapine Injection in the treatment of coronary heart disease with unstable angina pectoris and its effect on blood coagulation indicators,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hsCRP),blood lipids and blood glucose. Methods Forty patients with unstable angina pectoris were randomly divided into the treatment group(20 cases) and the control group(20 cases). The treatment group was administered with Breviscapine Injection combined with western conventional medicine, and the control group with western conventional medicine only. Before and after treatment, therapeutic effects of angina pectoris, electrocardiogram(ECG),traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome and changes of prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),plasma fibrinogen(FG),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),blood lipids and blood glucose were observed. Results There was no significant difference in alleviating the symptoms of angina pectoris and improving therapeutic effect of ECG between the control group and the treatment group(P0.05).Therapeutic effect of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P0.05).Levels of PT and APTT were significantly increased and levels of FG and hsCRP were significantly decreased in the treatment group compared with those in the control group(P0.05,or P0.01).In the treatment group, levels of total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C),triglyceride(TG) and two-hours postprandial plasma glucose(2hPG) were significantly decreased(P0.05,or P0.01),while the level of high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C) showed nonsignificant change(P0.05).In the control group, levels of LDL-C,fasting plasma glucose and 2hPG were significantly decreased(P0.05),and levels of TC,TG and HDL-C showed nonsignificant change(P0.05).After treatment, the level of LDL-C was significantly decreased compared with that in the control(P0.05).Conclusion The mechanism of Breviscapine Injection in treating unstable angina pectoris might associate with alleviating TCM syndrome, improving coagulation index, lowering hs-CRP,regulating lipids and decreasing blood glucose.
