Title: Antithrombotic study of Danhong Injection in the treatment of old patient with unstable angina pectoris
Abstract: Objective To investigate the antithrombotic effects and safety of Danhong Injection(DHI) in patients with unstable angina pectoris and detect the possible mechanisms. Methods 130 patients with unstable angina pectoris were randomized to trial group(80 cases) and control group(50 cases). All were administered with routine medication.Additionally,DHI was administered intravenously to patients in the trial group. The changes in plasma biochemical indicators were monitored. Results There was a significant difference in the inhibition rate of the ADP and AA induced platelet aggregation in each group after treatment. The difference of the ADP induced platelet aggregation rate was statistically significant between the two groups(P0.01),but not for AA induced platelet aggregation rate. The plasma levels of fibrinogen and D-dimmer in the treatment group were significantly decreased after treatment compared with the control group(P0.01).No abnormal changes in blood routine examination, liver or renal functions were seen in all patients. Conclusion DHI is proved to be an effective and safe agent to the patients with unstable angina pectoris.
