Abstract:Objective To explore the significance of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody in diagnosing rheumatoid arthritis.Methods Anti-CCP in patients with the chief complaint of joint pain or swelling w...Objective To explore the significance of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody in diagnosing rheumatoid arthritis.Methods Anti-CCP in patients with the chief complaint of joint pain or swelling was measured by ELISA.Results The sensitivity of anti-CCP and RF in diagnosing of RA was 75.0% and 53.2% respectively The specificity was 92.3% and 76.1%.The sensitivity and specificity of anti-CCP was significantly higher than that of RF(P0.01).Anti-CCP had greater diagnostic value than RF in early diagnosis of RA.Conclusion The anti-CCP presents a good sensitivity and specificity in diagnosis of RA.Read More
