Abstract:Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(CCP) antibody and rheumatoid factor(RF)in the patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Serum levels of anti-CCP...Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(CCP) antibody and rheumatoid factor(RF)in the patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods Serum levels of anti-CCP antibody,RF were detected in 55 RA patients,50 patients with other autoimmune diseases and 50 healthy individuals by using rate nephelometry and enzyme linkage immunosorbent assay(ELISA) respectively.Following,some statistical analysis for these data were done.Results of 55 RA patients,the positive rate of anti-CCP antibody and RF was 63.63%,67.27%;were higher than those of the patients with other diseases and 35 healthy individuals(P0.01).The sensitivity of anti-CCP antibody and RF for diagnosis of RA were 63,63% and 67.27%,and their specificity were 98.00% and 79%,respectively.Comparative analysis showed that RF sensitivity was higher than anti-CCP antibody.But the anti-CCP antibodies had higher specificity than RF.Conclusions The sensitivity and specificity of anti-CCP are satisfactory in diagnosis of RA,especially combined with RF is valuable in diagnosing RA.Read More
