Methods ELISA and TPNIA techniques were used to detect serum levels of anti-CCP and RF in 79 patients with RA and 52 non-RA patients. Results Positive anti-CCP and RF were found in 40 patients with RA,while positive anti-CCP or RF alone was found in 12 or 20 with RA,respectively.Positive anti-CCP or RF alone was only noticed in two or 14 non-RA patients, respectively. Both anti-CCP and RF positive were not observed in non-RA patients. The positive rate of anti-CCP and RF of patients with RA was significantly higher than that of non-RA patients(χ2=49.713,30.666;P0.01). Conclusion Determination of serum levels of anti-CCP by ELISA,with relatively high accuracy and specificity,is helpful in the diagnosis of patients with RA.Read More
