Title: Expression and clinical significance of TSG101 and EGFR in human gastric cancer
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the expression and significance of tumor susceptibility gene 101(TSG101) and EGFR in gastric cancer. Methods: The expression level of TSG101 and EGFR in the tissues of 42 patients with gastric cancer and in the correspondent normal tissues adjacent to the gastric cancer was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results: The positive expression rate of TSG101 in gastric cancer was lower than those in correspondent normal tissues(χ2=12.22,P0.05).The positive expression rate of EGFR in gastric cancer was higher than those in correspondent normal tissues(χ2=10.16,P0.05).Conclusion: The low-express of TSG101 and high-express of EGFR may correlate to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer.
