Title: Content Determination of Effective Ingredients of Salvia miltiorrhiza before and after Mixed with Astragalus membranceus and Samples from Different Producing Areas
Abstract: OBJECTIVE:To determine the contents of tanshinone ⅡA and salvianolic acid B in Salvia miltiorrhiza from different producing areas, and to investigate the changes of different components of S.miltiorrhiza before and after mixed with Astragalus membranceus.METHODS:HPLC method was used to measure the content of tanshinone ⅡA and salvianolic acid B.The determination of tanshinone ⅡA was performed on Waters C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) column with mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(75:25) at detection wavelength of 270 nm.The determination of salvianolic acid B was carried on Agilent C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) column with mobile phase are used methanol-acetonitrile-formic acid-water(30:10:1:59) at the detection wavelength of 286 nm.RESULTS:The contents of tanshinone ⅡA in S.miltiorrhiza from different producing areas were lower than the standard stated in pharmacopeia, and salvianolic acid B had a large fluctuation. The extraction rate of tanshinone ⅡA and salvianolic acid B could be improved after mixed with A.membranceus.CONCLUSION:The contents of tanshinone ⅡA and salvianolic acid B from different origin places do not exist correlation. The cultivation technology of S.miltiorrhiza needs to be improved. It shows science and rationality that the contents of effective components in S.miltiorrhiza changes after mixed with A.membranceus.
