Title: Retroperitoneal laparoscopy for upper ureteral calculi
Abstract: 【Objective】 To evaluate the selection of indications,surgical techniques of retroperitoneoscopic ureterolithotomy.【Methods】 A retrospective analysis was reviewed in 14 cases of upper ureteral calculi which were treated by retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy.【Results】 All operations were successfully completed.The operative time ranged from 40 to 105 min(mean,55 min).The intraoperative blood loss ranged from 20 to 90 mL(mean,35 mL).During the follow-up period(2 to 10 months) there was no ureteric stricture or recurrent calculus.【Conclusion】 Retroperitoneoscopic ureterolithotomy is a safe,reliable and minimally invasive.
