Title: Laparoscopic ureterolithotomy for treatment of ureteral calculi(Report of 20 cases)
Abstract: Objective:To explore the surgical technique and experience of laparoscopic ureterolithotomy.Methods:16 cases with upper or midst ureter calculi were treated by laparoscopic ureterolithotomy,and 4 cases bilateral ureter calculi by retroperitoneal ureterolithotomy,ESWL,URSL was ineffective for all.The diameters of calculi ranged(0.9) to(2.6) cm.Detail of the procedure were presented.Results:All the stones were taken out,the operation time was between 30 and 95 min with a mean of 52 min.The intra-operative mean bleeding volume was 24 ml(range,10 to 50 ml);The complication was not observed duing the follow-up of 6 months.Conclusions:Laparoscopic ureterolithotomy for the treatment of ureteral calculi is miniinvisive,safe and effective.Bilateral ureter calculi treated by retroperitoneal ureterolithotomy is simple and easy.
