Title: Cysc and β2-MG for the early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy.
Abstract: Objective To explore the early diagnostic value of Cysc and β2-MG detected by immunoturbidimetry in patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods According to urinary protein level the diabetic patients were divided into three groups. The serum levels of Cysc,β2-MG,Cr and BUN were determined. The concentration and positive rate were compared with the normal control group, and the results were statistically analyzed. Results Cysc,β2-MG,Cr and BUN concentrations were positively correlated. In diabetic patients before the appearance of urinary protein, the Cysc and β2-MG positive rate and the serum levels were higher than the positive rates and levels of Cr and BUN.The Cysc and β2-MG positive rate can up to 80%,with significant difference(P0.05).Conclusions Cysc and β2-MG are more meaningful for the early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy than Cr and BUN.But to enhance the positive detection rate of kidney disease,it is best to conduct a comprehensive testing.
