Title: Diagnostic value of IL-6 and CysC detection for diabetic kidney disease nephropathy in the early stage
Abstract: Objective To explore the diagnostic value of interleukin-6(IL-6) and serum cystatin-C(CysC) detection for diabetic nephropathy in the early stage. Methods According to urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),164 diabetic patients were divided into 2 groups. There were 120 diabetic patients without early renal damage(UAER20μg/min) in DM group;44 patients with diabetic nephropathy(UAER20-200μg/min) in DN group;while 50 healthy persons without diabetes served as the control group.IL-6 and CysC were measured in each group and analyzed statistically. Results Compared with control group,IL-6,CysC and hs-CRP levels were higher in DM and DN groups(P0.01);compared with DM group, the above three indexes were higher in DN group(P0.05).The positive rate of combined detection for early renal damage was significantly higher than that of the individual testing(P0.05);hs-CRP level in positive IL-6 and CysC group was higher than that in negative group(P0.01). Conclusion IL-6 and CysC detection are helpful to increase the positive rate of detection of diabetic nephropathy, has the important significance for early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy.CysC and IL-6 detection has important value in judgment of disease activity.
