Title: Characteristics of coronary artery disease in women≤45 years of age with chest pain
Abstract: Objective:To investigate the characteristics of coronary heart disease(CHD)in women ≤45 years of age with chest pain. Methods:The 230 women ≤45 years of age with chest pain were divided into CHD group and non-CHD group according to the result of coronary angiography(CAG).Risk factors and noninvasive tests of two groups were compared. Results:The 10% of women≤45years of age with chest pain were confirmed as having CHD by CAG.One-vessel disease occurred 78.3%.Prevalences of hyperlipidemia and hypertension in CHD were significantly more than those of non-CHD group(P0.01),whereas the positive results of noninvasive tests had no significant difference between two groups. Conclusion:The morbidity of CHD in women≤45years of age with chest pain was low.Hyperlipidemia and hypertension are the main risk factor of CHD.Noninvasive test had little diagnostic value in these patients.
