Title: Coronary angiographic characteristics of cornonary heart disease patients in different age-groups
Abstract: Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics of angiography in patients of different ages with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods:One hundred forty-eight CHD patients were divided into middle age-group(60 years old),elderly group(60-74 years old)and older age-group(74 years old).Their clinical data, biochemical indicators and coronary arteriongraphy results were compared and analyzed statistically. Results:There was less hypertension in the middle age-group than in the older age-group(P0.05).More single-vessel lesion was found in the middle-aged,and multiple vessel diseases occurred more frequently in the elderly and the older aged(P0.05).Right coronary artery lesions was more frequently observed in the aged than the middle-aged(P0.05).ACC/AHA scores did not show significant statistical difference in the three groups(P0.05).There were more diffuse lesions in the elderly group and older age-group than in the middle age-group(P0.05).Conclusions:Coronary angiography demonstrates different characteristics for patients of different ages, and effective measures should be taken accordingly, which will be of great significance for the treatment of patients with coronary artery disease.
