Title: Expression of Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 in Lung Carcinoma
Abstract: Objective To study the relationship of matrix metalloproteinase-2(mmp-2) to clinicopathological characters and prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods The expression level of mmp-2 in 87 NSCLC patients was tested with immunohistochemistry. Results The positive rate of mmp-2 expression was higher in NSCLC than in normal tissues(P0.05).The poorer differentiation of the was associated with the higher expression of mmp-2.The expression of mmp-2 in tumor tissue with positive-node was much higher than that in tumor tissue with negative-node(P0.05).Conclusions Mmp-2 obviously relates with the clinicopathological characters and prognosis of the NSCLC.
