Methods The surgery was performed on 54 ey...Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects of the modified small incision cataract extraction combined with intraocular lens implantation of hard nucleus. Methods The surgery was performed on 54 eyes of 48 patiens suffered from cataract with hard nucleus. The follow-up period was 6-24 months (averaged 12.5 months). Results The vision acuity of 37 eyes(68.52%) was better than 0.5. There was no posterior capsular rupture. No serious complications were found. Conclusions The modified small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation was safe and had a good effect.Read More
