Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of small incision non-phacoemulsification and implantation of artificial lens in senile cataract.Methods 218 cases of 232 eyes were given small incision ph...Objective To investigate the clinical effect of small incision non-phacoemulsification and implantation of artificial lens in senile cataract.Methods 218 cases of 232 eyes were given small incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation.After treatment,the clinical effect were observed and followed-up.Results The results were significantly improved postoperative visual acuity, uncorrected visual acuity after 3 d of which 0.5 accounted for 92%, 0.6 more than 7.4%.After 1 week,after the uncorrected visual acuity of 0.6 in 58%, 31% more than 0.8, 1.0 more than 13%.Intraoperative and postoperative complication rate was 21.6%, which intraoperative posterior capsule rupture occurred in 4 eyes,implantation of artificial lens in ciliary sulcus.Postoperative corneal edema in 38 eyes, secondary glaucoma in 5 eyes, postoperative hyphema in 3 eyes, returned to normal after treatment.No serious complications occuredintraoperative and postoperative.Conclusion Small incision cataract phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation is a safe, effective and practical surgical method.Read More
