Title: More and more commuters in London use the bike: analysis of mobility in London after 10 years congestion tax
Abstract: In 2003 Verkeersspecialist extensively reported about the introduction of the congestion tax in London. It was then both a politically and technically feat. What is the traffic situation in the British metropolis now, ten years later? The opinions on the impact of the congestion tax are divided. Meanwhile, a number of new phenomena have manifested, such as public rental bikes, newer buses and various initiatives to get as quickly and cheaply as possible from A to B. Oddly enough, avoiding long commuting trips is the main future challenge, to be realized via central city development around transport hubs.
