Title: Expression of Her-2,TopoIIα and the hormone receptor in breast carcinoma and their clinical significances
Abstract: Objective To study the expression levels of estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),Her-2 and TopoⅡα as well as their correlations and clinical significances in breast cancer tissues. Methods The assays of ER,PR,Her-2 and TopoⅡα were performed by immunohistochemical SP methods on the paraffin routinely embedded sections of specimens from breast cancer tissue. Results The positivity expression rates of ER,PR,Her-2 and TopoⅡα were 72.5%,62.5%,30% and 86.3%,respectively.The positivity rates of Her-2 and TopoⅡα increased with the number of metastasis lymph node and clinical stage, and there was a significant correlation(P0.05).The positivity rates of ER and PR decreased with the number of metastasis lymph node and clinical stage, and there wasn't significant correlation(P0.05).ER and PR had a reverse correlation with the expression of Her-2 and TopoⅡα,but there wasn't significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion Her-2 and TopoⅡα are useful prognostic factors in patients with breast cancer. The expression of ER and PR are associated with the clinical stage and lymph node metastases of breast cancer.
