Title: EFFECTS OF ALPROSTADIL ON THE PLATELET AGGREGATION RATE IN THE SENILE PATIENTS WITH CORONARY HEART DISEASE
Abstract: [Objective]To observe the effects of alprostadil on the platelet aggregation rate in the senile patients with coronary heart disease and to investigate its mechanisms of action.[Methods]64 elderly patients with coronary heart disease were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 32 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional drug treatment and the observation group was given alprostadil injection 10 ug in normal saline 20 ml,once a day.The two groups were treated for two weeks. The changes of blood-lipid and platelet aggregation rate in both groups were observed before and after treatment respectively, and compared with each other.[Results]After alprostadil treatment, the aggregation rate at 3 minute and maximal aggregation rate were obviously decreased in the observation group(P﹤0.05).The level of TC,TG,and LDL-c were decreased and HDL-c was increased in the observation group, with a significant difference before and after treatment(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]Alprostadil can decrease the platelet aggregation rate and level of blood lipid and improve myocardial ischemia, which is a effective drug for the treatment of coronary heart disease.
