Title: Clinical observation of Octreotide combined with Reinfusion of concentrated ascites in treatment of ascites due to liver cirrhosis
Abstract: Objective: To analyze application effect of octreotide and reinfusion of concentrated ascite in treatment of ascites due to liver cirrhosis. Methods: 60 cases with ascites due to liver cirrhosis were randomly divided into observation group and control group, wherein the control group was treated with reinfusion of ultra-filtered and concentrated ascites into abdominal cavity and conventional protecting liver, supplement of albumin and plasma, and diuretic therapy, while the treatment group was given octreotide injection treatment based on the treatments of control group. The clinical therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed. Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was 90%,whereas that of control group was 70%; the average hospitalization time for the patients in treatment group was( 10. 2 ± 2. 6) d,whereas that for the patients in control group was( 14. 6 ± 2. 4) d; and there were statistical differences in the total effective rate and hospitalization time between the two groups( P 0. 05). Conclusions: Octreotide combined with reinfusion of concentrated ascites in the treatment of ascites due to liver cirrhosis has a high total effective rate, high safety, short hospitalization time, and significant effect, and is worthy of clinical use.
