Title: Efficacy of octreotide and captopril for refractory ascites of hepatic cirrhosis
Abstract: Objective:To investigate the effect of octreotide combined captopril on curing refractory ascites of hepatic cirrhosis.Method:59 cases of liver cirrhosis with refractory ascites were randomly divided into two groups.Treatment group (29 cases) was in the conventional therapy assisting with octreotide and captopril. The control group (30 cases) was in the conventional therapy assisting with captopril. The abdominal circumference, serum urea nitrogen, creatinine albumin were detected after treatment Results:The total effective rate in treatment group is 82.7% (24/29) which is higher than that for control group( 60.% (18/30) (P0.01)).Abdominal circumference in treatment group is less than that in the control group (P0.05).Blood chemistry and renal function parameters were no statistical significance difference between the two groups (P0.05).Conclusion:The Octreotide combined captopril had good efficacy and safety.to cure cirrhosis with refractory ascites using
