Title: Survey on AIDS Knowledge,Behavior and Attitude Among College Students in Jincheng City,2009
Abstract: [Objective]To find out AIDS knowledge,behavior,and attitude among college students in Jincheng city,so as to provide the scientific basis for development of relevant measures of health education.[Methods]In September,2009,a questionnaire survey was conducted among college students in three colleges of Jincheng city.[Results]A total of 607 students were surveyed.The AIDS awareness rate was 65.73%,The knowledge of AIDS transmission awareness rate was 73.18%,The knowledge of AIDS non-transmission awareness rate was 53.32%.15.16% of the students were willing to work with HIV-infected persons and AIDS patients,53.21% of the students were willing to help AIDS patients or their orphans. The ways to gain knowledge of AIDS were from television accounted for 87.64%,the newspapers,books accounted for 71.83 %,the network accounted for 57.17%.They wanted to get the knowledge of AIDS from television accounted for 70.35%,the newspapers,books accounted for 58.65%,the network accounted for 50.58%.39.54% of the students agreed with premarital sex and extramarital sex and 16.80% of the students indifferent.16 students have had sex,56.25% of them using condom.[Conclusion]The awareness rate of basic knowledge of AIDS among college students is low.
