Title: Clinical Study of Frequent Premature Ventricular Contractions Treated by Shenysong Yangxin Capsule Combined with Low Dose of Metoprolol
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the clinical effectiveness and security of frequent premature ventricular contractions(FPVC)treated by Shenysong Yangxin capsule combined with low dose of metoprolol.Methods:Gather patients with FPVC(frequency ≥ 30 times / h)diagnosed in our clinic and hospital from January 2011 to December 2011 were selected.Qualified subjects were divided into control group and treatment group according to the treatment order.Control group was administrated metoprolol tablets(23.75mg/d)conventionally by oral;treatment group was administrated metoprolol tablets conventionally by oral combined with Shenysong Yangxin capsule(four capsules each time and 3 times a day).Patients were followed up once a week,and the period of treatment was 2 weeks.Then,the differences of their clinical symptoms and the 24h ambulatory ECG changes separately between the two groups were compared and explored.Conclusion:A total of 65 cases of the subjects was gathered with 32 cases in the control group and 33 cases in the treatment group.There was no significant difference between the two groups of subjects' age,gender and atrial fibrillation frequency before treatment.But the number of attacks of FPVC in the treatment group decreased significantly and the total efficiency(90.9%)was significantly higherthan that(78.1%)of the control group(P0.05).And the degree of improvement of main symptoms in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P0.05).Besides,no serious adverse reaction was found in the two groups.Conclusion:The treatment of FPVC by Shenysong Yangxin capsule combined with low dose of metoprolol is safe,effective and earned clinical value.
