Title: Isolation and Identification of Highly Pathogenic Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus TS Strain and Sequence Analysis of Partial Nsp2 Genes
Abstract: A porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV) field strain,PRRSV TS02,was isolated from a sick pig with high fever in Tang shan,China. The strain replicated well in Marc-145 cells and caused cytopathic effect(CPE) in cell culture.PRRSV TS02 strain was identified to be a member of American genotype based on RT-PCR analysis. The Nsp2 genes of the strain was amplified and sequenced. The results revealed discontinuous deletions of 30 amino acids in the peptide deduced from the Nsp2 genes.Sequence analysis showed that the Nsp2 genes shared 97.7%、97.7%、96.5% and 97.1% nucleotide homologies compared with other high pathogenic PRRSV strains JXA1,GD,WUH1 and jiangxi-3,respectively.
