Title: Analysis of curative effect of partial pulpotomy of exposed pulp of permanent anterior tooth with fracture of crown
Abstract: AIM: To observe the effect of partial pulpotomy of exposed pulp of permanent anterior tooth after fracturc of crown. METHODS:26 cases(31 fractured teeth) form 8 to 45 years were undergone partial pulpotomy within 72 hours after fracture of crown. They were examined with clinical methods and X-ray 15 days, one month, three months, six months, one year and two years after operation respectively. RESULTS: 29 teeth were successful while 2 failed, with success rate of 93.5%. Failure was caused by absorption in root and reinfection after loss of temporary sealing agent. CONCLUSION:Partial pulpotomy for crown pulp is a better method.
