Title: Clinical efficacious investigation of partial pulpotomy in treatment of crown fracture with pulp exposure in immature permanent incisors
Abstract: Objective To investigate the efficacy of partial pulpotomy in the treatment of crown fracture with pulp exposure in immature permanent incisors and analyze the factors influencing its clinical efficacy.Methods 45 immature permanent incisors of 40 children were recruited into this investigation,which suffered from crown fracture with pulp exposure.All the teeth were treated with partial pulpotomy,and they were followed up for 2 to 4 years.Results The success rate was 88.9% on the basis of the 2 to 4-year follow-up.The size and duration of pulp exposure did not influence the efficacy statistically.Conclusion The partial pulpotomy is a very effective method for crown fracture with pulp exposure in immature permanent incisors.
