[Methods] Sixty-three patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) were studied and divided into acute myocardial infarction group(AMI group) and unstable angina group(UA group). We Analysed changes of H-FABP and CTnI after chest pain during different phase. [Results] The H-FABP positive rate was 92.3% compared with 46.2% CTnI (P 0.05) 3 hours after chest pain; H-FABP positive rate was 96.1% in AMI group compared with negative ratio 4.9%(P 0.05). H-FABP positive rate was 98.7% among CTnI positive patients 6 hours after chest pain. [Conclusion] Time of occuring positive result of H-FABP was earlier than that of CTnI in early diagnosing acute myocardial infarction. Detection of H-FABP is valuable in early diagnosis of myocardial infarction and it is important in guiding clinical emergency as well.Read More
