Title: Practice of clinical teaching in community nursing for undergraduate students in a primary-level hospital
Abstract: Objective To explore how to help nursing students to understand and master theories and skills of community nursing,and cultivate and train work team of community uursing through the practice of clinical teaching in community nursing for undergraduate students in our hospital. Method The following teaching methods, such as role action, lectures of health education and home visit, were used in the community nursing practice for 101 undergraduate students. Results 75.76% of the students were satisfied with the clinical practice. 93% of the residents in the community praised the lectures of health education given by the students. Conclusion Clinical teaching for community nursing is a new task for primary-level hospital. The students' professional attitude, capability of knowledge integration, and function of socialization got improved after nursing practice in community, meanwhile,through the 3 years of teaching practice,the community nurses' ability of clinical teaching and professional level have been promoted.
