Title: The Change and Clinical Significance of Serum High-sensitivity C-reactive Protein and Brain Natriuretic Peptide in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome
Abstract: Objective To probe the changes and the clinical significance of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods The serum levels of BNP and hs-CRP were respectively measured in 58 patients with ACS and 40 healthy persons in the control team. Results Compared with those healthy subjects, the serum levels of BNP and hs-CRP significantly increased in patients with ACS(P0.01).There were significant differences between the levels of BNP and hs-CRP in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI) and unstable angina(UA)(P0.01).Conclusion The serum levels of BNP and hs-CRP have important significance in diagnosis and evaluating conditions of patients with ACS.
