Title: Detection and analysis for inflammation-associated factors in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy
Abstract: Objective To investigate the significance of serum level changes of C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-2receptor(sIL-2R),interleukin-6(IL-6)and transforming growth factor-beta 1(TGF-β1)in the patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods 98 patients with diabetic nephropathy were divided in to three groups according to the excretion rate of urinary microalbumin in 24 hours.Group A:without alblminuria(UAER20 g/min,n=32),Group B:microalbumin(UAER200 g/min,n=35),Group C:high-grade proteinuria(UAER200 g/min,n=31).The serum level changes of CRP,sIL-2R,IL-6 and TGF-β1 from the three groups were observed and compared with 32 controls. Results Serum levels of CRP,sIL-2R,IL-6 and TGF-β1 in the patients with diabetic nephropathy were significantly higher than those in controls(P0.01).Serum levels of CRP,sIL-2R,IL-6 and TGF-β1 in group B were significantly higher than those in group A(P0.05).Serum levels of CRP,sIL-2R,IL-6 and TGF-β1 in group C were significantly higher than those in group B(P0.01).Conclusion Early detection of serum level changes of CRP,sIL-2R,IL-6 and TGF-β1 might be helpful for the condition observation and prognostic judgment of patients with diabetic nephropathy.
