Methods We used immunohistochemical methods to detect the expression of c-erbB-2、ER、PR in 95 cases of primary breast carcinoma to analyze the correlation between them and its clinical significance. Results The positive expression of c-erbB-2 was 69.47%. The positive rate of expression of c-erbB-2 was 48.39% in the group with positive expression of ER, 79.69% in the group with negative expression of ER(P0.05);The positive rate of expression of c-erbB-2 was 48.15% in the group with positive expression of PR, 77.94% in the group with negative expression of PR (P0.01). After 2 years following up, the recurrence rates of ER/PR(+) ,and ER/PR(-) were 4% and 13% respectively. The recurrence rates in c-erbB-2(+) and c-erbB-2(-) were 14.0% and 2 .5% respectively(P0.05). Conclusions The positive expression of c-erbB-2 had a reverse correlation with ER、PR, c-erbB-2 is an useful prognostic factor in patients with breast carcinoma, the combined detection of c-erbB-2、ER、PR has important significance for clinical therapy.Read More
