Title: Expression and clinical significance of KAI1/CD82 in primary breast cancer
Abstract: Objective:To explore the expression and clinical significance of KAI1/CD82 in primary breast cancer.Methods:RT-PCR and immunohistochemical staining(SP method)were used to detect the expression of KAI1/CD82 in specimens from 69 breast cancer tissues, adjacent normal breast tissues and regional lymphnode tissues. Results:In 69 primary breast cancer patients, the expression of KAI1 mRNA in adjacent normal breast tissues had no obvious difference between regional lymphnode metastasis negative group and regional lymphnode metastasis positive group(P0.05).Whereas the expression of KAI1 mRNA in breast cancer tissues and regional lymphnode tissues had obvious difference between regional lymphnode metastasis negative group and regional lymphnode metastasis positive group(P0.05).The expression of CD82 had no correlation with clinical and pathological types, ane expression of PR(P0.05).However the expression of CD82 had correlation with clinical stages, histological grades, regional lymphnode metastasis, distanu metastasis, expression of ER(P0.05).Conclusion:KAI1/CD82 has correlation with breast cancer metastasis and some clinical and pathological factors. It has certain clinical significance.
