Title: Synthesis and Application of Epoxy-terminated Hyperbranched Polyester
Abstract: Hyperbranched polyester was synthesized by pentaerythritol as core and 2,2-bis( hydroxymethyl) butyric acid as arms using p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst. The epoxidation of hydroxyl terminated hyperbranched polyester was used epoxy chloropropane. Chemical structure of the epoxy-terminated hyperbranched polyester was characterized and confirmed successfully by GPC,13C- NMR and1H- NMR. The mechanical properties of bisphenol a epoxy resin modifieded by epoxy-terminated hyperbranched polyester was mainly discussed.
