Title: Preparation of Epoxy Resin/Hyperbranched Polyester/Nano-Silica Composites
Abstract: Epoxy/hyperbranched polyester/nano-silica composites were prepared by using epoxy resin,hyperbranched polyester and polysilica acid as base materials.The structure property and morphologies of the nanocomposites were characterized by means of wide angle X-ray diffraction(WAXD),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),thermogravimetry analysis(TGA)and scanning electron microscope(SEM),etc.The experimental results show that the mechanical properties and thermal performance of the nanocomposites are obviously increased after addition of hyperbranched polyester and polysilica acid.The impact strength of hybrid material(with 1% of SiO2)increased by 10.48 kJ/m2 compared with that of the neat epoxy resin,and the onset decomposition temperature obtained by TGA is 27 ℃ higher than that of the neat epoxy resins.
