Title: Determination of SC5b-9,ANA,and AdsDNA antibodies in blood of SLE patients and its significance
Abstract: AIM:The contents of terminal complement complex(SC5b-9),complement haemolytic activity(CH 50 ),anti-nuclear antibody(ANA) and anti-double stranded DNA(AdsDNA) in blood of SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus) patients were measured by various methods. RESULTS:The level of SC5b-9, ANA and AdsDNA of active SLE patients were higher than that of inactive SLE patients. But the levels of CH 50 in active SLE patients was lower than that of inactive SLE patients. The differences of the four parameters between active SLE and inactive SLE were significant( P 0 01) The sensitivity of detecting SC56-9 among the four parameters was the highest.CONCLUSION:Changes of SC5b-9,ANA, AdsDNA and CH 50 in the SLE patients could provide scientific basis for diagnosis of active SLE,guiding the use of drugs and evaluating the patient's prognosis.
