Title: Impact Evaluation on Rational Nutrition Intervention of Middle School Students and Their Parents
Abstract: Objective To probe into the impact of combined intervention conducted in schools and families which aimed at promoting rational nutrition among middle school students and their parents,so as to provide scientific evidence for correcting their irrational dietary habits.Methods Four hundred and sixty-three students in grade one of senior middle school and their parents were chosen as intervention group,and 343 students and their parents were chosen as control.Different measures aimed at promoting knowledge,attitude and practice of rational nutrition lasted 2 years in the intervention group.By the end,the effects of the intervention were evaluated.Results After the intervention,the KAP of rational nutrition of the intervention was obviously better than that of control group(P0.05).As for the parents in the intervention group,the behaviors were significantly better than the comparison group in breakfast,snack,sock,purchasing food and dealing with their children's unhealthy dietary behaviors(P0.05).Conclusion The combined intervention conducted in schools and families is effective and feasible.
