Title: The Combined Use of Transurethral Electro-vaporiation Ablation and Pneumatic Iithotripsy for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia with Bladder Stones
Abstract: Objective To study the endourological treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)with bladder stones.Methods TUVP and pneumatic lithotripsy were concomitantly performed on 27 cases of BPH with bladder stones.Results In all the patients,BPH and bladder stone were successfully treated in one operation. No patient experienced TUR syndrome or bladder rupture. All the patients had normal micturation after the urethal catheter was with drawn3~5days later.Conclusion The combined use of TUVP and pneumatic lithotripsy is an effective treatment with low complication rate for BPH with bladder stones.
